WeConfig - VLAN Configuration

In the typical industrial networking experience adding a new VLAN for communication between two devices at different switches in a ring would involve multiple tedious steps:

1) Go to Switch 1 where an access port is needed, add the new VLAN, configure the access port into the new VLAN, potentially add this VLAN to the trunk ports on this switch (and might confirm in a neighbor table which trunks if many exist)
2) Go to Switch 2 where an access port is needed, add the new VLAN, configure the access port(s) into the new VLAN, potentially add this VLAN to the trunk ports on this switch (+neighbor table check)
3) Go to each of the remaining switches in the ring individually, add the new VLAN, potentially add this VLAN to the trunks ports on the switch (+neighbor table check)

Alternatively check out this video and tell me you've seen a faster and simpler way to add a VLAN to an existing network in industrial networking.

Using Westermo switches and WeConfig he selects the entire ring (switches and connections), WeConfig "knows" what the trunk connections are and when he adds the new VLAN it's automatically tagged at all trunks, leaving only the access port configuration in a few clicks in a single GUI pane.
